The Raritan Digital DVI-D USB Computer Interface Module (CIM) is designed to provide secure, reliable remote server access through compatible Raritan KVM-over-IP switches. It supports digital DVI-D video and USB connectivity to deliver sharp, high-quality video output while enabling keyboard and mouse control for efficient remote system management.
It is designed for virtual media applications to allow administrators to remotely mount ISO images, perform operating system installations, apply software updates, and carry out system recovery tasks without requiring physical access to the server. Its full BIOS-level access ensures complete remote management capabilities, even during system startup or when the operating system is unavailable.
The CIM also supports absolute mouse synchronisation which eliminates cursor drift to provide accurate mouse control during remote sessions. The integrated audio support enables remote monitoring of audio output when required, while Smart Card/CAC compatibility provides secure authentication for environments that require multi-factor access and compliance with government, defence, healthcare, or enterprise security standards.
