The Prysmian OM4 Tight Buffered Cable, LSZH, Eca, Internal/External is a multimode fibre cable that provides reliable, high-speed data transmission across enterprise, campus, and industrial networks. It features OM4 multimode fibres and supports high-bandwidth applications, including 10, 40 and 100 Gigabit Ethernet over extended distances, making it ideal for data centres and other demanding network infrastructures.
Its tight buffered construction provides protection and simplifies installation and termination, meaning that additional breakout kits are not needed. The LSZH outer sheath improves fire safety by minimising the release of smoke and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, making it suitable for installations in public buildings, offices, hospitals, and transport environments. Rated to the Eca Euroclass fire performance standard, the cable complies with the CPR for use in European building installations.
It is suitable for internal and external applications and the cable offers the flexibility to transition seamlessly between indoor and outdoor environments while maintaining reliable optical performance.
