The Prysmian OM3 Tight Buffered Cable, LSZH, Eca, Internal/External is a multimode fibre cable that provides reliable data transmission across enterprise, campus, and industrial networks. It features OM3 multimode fibres and supports high-bandwidth applications, including 10 Gigabit Ethernet over extended distances, making it ideal for modern network infrastructures and data centres.
Its tight buffered construction provides mechanical protection and simplifies installation and termination, meaning additional breakout kits are not needed. The LSZH outer sheath improves fire safety by minimising the release of smoke and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, making it suitable for installations in public buildings, offices, hospitals, and transport environments. It is rated to the Eca Euroclass fire performance standard and complies with the CPR for use in European building installations.
It can be used in internal and external applications and offers increased flexibility to make the transitions between indoor and outdoor environments seamless while maintaining reliable optical performance.
