PANDUIT Opticom® Rack Mount Fibre Cassette Enclosure

The Panduit Opticom® Rack Mount Fibre Cassette Enclosure is a robust, scalable solution for managing fibre optic patching, terminations, and connections in structured cabling environments.

As part of the Opticom® QuickNet™ fibre cabling system, they are designed to house pre-terminated fibre cassettes, fibre adapter panels (FAPs), splice modules, and trunk cabling, providing a centralised point for high-density fibre distribution in data centres, main distribution areas (MDAs), and horizontal distribution areas (HDAs).

They are made from steel and are compatible with standard 19″ EIA-310 rack systems. The enclosures are available in multiple rack unit sizes to support a variety of network capacities.

The slide-out, tilt-down drawer provides front access to fibre patch cords and connectors, facilitating any changes without disturbing current infrastructure. Cable management features, including bend radius control and rear slack storage, protect delicate fibre cables and maintain signal integrity throughout the routing path.

The enclosure works with all Panduit Opticom® cassettes, fibre adapter panels, and splice modules, supporting a wide range of connector types including LC, SC, ST, and MPO.
