PANDUIT Fibre Optic Pigtails

Panduit’s Opti-Core® Fibre Optic Pigtails support efficient and reliable fusion splice field terminations in structured cabling systems. These pigtails offer compatibility with a wide range of singlemode and multimode installations including OM1, OM3, OM4, OM4+, OM5, and OS2 fibre types to meet the demands of modern network applications such as Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and Fibre Channel.

The pigtails are available with simplex or duplex connectors, typically LC or SC, giving flexibility to match the required connector type on panels or equipment. The buffered fibre pigtails are colour-coded blue with jacketed products using standard optical colour codes, making identification and organisation easier.

Panduit Opti-Core® pigtails are available with OFNR (riser) or LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket materials to comply with regional safety codes for indoor installations. All connectors are factory-terminated and tested for insertion loss and return loss performance to ensure consistency and reliability in optical links. With 500 cycle durability and compliance with industry standards such as TIA-604 (FOCIS) and TIA-568.3-D, these pigtails are a dependable choice for spliced connections in telecommunications rooms, data centres, and backbone networks.
