The Fluke Networks MicroScanner™ PoE Cable Verifier quickly verifies voice, data, and video cabling systems and provides comprehensive Power over Ethernet (PoE) testing.
It displays test results including wiremap, pair length, distance to fault, cable ID, and connected device, clearly on a single screen, eliminating the need to scroll through multiple menus.
The MicroScanner PoE verifies copper cable integrity and detects faults such as opens, shorts, split pairs, and miswires. Its advanced PoE testing capability identifies the presence of PoE and PoE+ power, determines the PoE class, and displays the available voltage from connected switches or midspan injectors which allows technicians to confirm whether sufficient power is being delivered to devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones.
It also detects active network devices and advertised data rates, which helps isolate connectivity issues more efficiently.
