Leviton’s Cat 6A Zone U/FTP Cable (LSHF/LSZH | Cca) is suitable for use in all Class EA structured cabling systems and meets the unique demands of modern data centre. It exceeds Cat 6A performance standards over channel lengths of up to 70 metres and is specified to 500 MHz.

It provides reliable support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Power over Ethernet (PoE), voice, and broadband video applications, delivering consistent high-speed performance where space and efficiency are critical.

With 26 AWG solid annealed copper wires, the AC6Z cable offers a compact, lightweight alternative to conventional Category 6A cables. Its reduced size and weight make it easier to handle, route, and install, particularly in high-density data centre environments where cable congestion, airflow, and installation time are key considerations.

Featuring four twisted pairs that are individually screened and cabled together in a U/FTP design, provides immunity to EMI and helps to preserve signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. This makes the cable well-suited for zone cabling architectures, where multiple connections and devices are consolidated within shorter channel lengths.

The cable is sheathed in a Halogen-Free Flame Retardant Low-Smoke (HFFR-LS) jacket, making it suitable for a wide range of installation environments. The jacket supports multiple CPR fire performance ratings, including Eca, Dca, Cca, and B2ca, and is colour coded for easy identification during installation and maintenance.
