LEVITON Cat 6A Universal Plug

Leviton’s Cat6A Universal Tool-Free Plug is designed to deliver secure, high-performance connectivity for 10GBASE-T networks. It is ideal for government, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation and gaming.

Engineered to meet or exceed all Category 6A performance requirements defined by ANSI/TIA-568.2 and Class EA requirements outlined in ISO/IEC 11801-1:2017, the plug ensures consistent electrical performance and signal integrity. It is compliant with ANSI/TIA-1096-A, adheres to applicable National Electrical Codes, and is UL listed, providing confidence in both safety and standards compliance.

The plug features a die-cast metal housing that offers durability and 360-degree shielding to protect against potential EMI/RFI. This shielding design provides effective signal isolation and excellent AXT suppression, helping maintain stable 10-gigabit performance in dense or electrically noisy installations. Designed to exceed IEEE 802.3 Power over Ethernet requirements, the plug supports up to 0.7 amps (140 watts) continuously.

Tool-free termination eliminates the need for specialized tools and speeds up installation. The universal wiring configuration accommodates both T568A and T568B schemes and supports 26–22 AWG solid or stranded conductors, making it compatible with a wide range of cable types. A long release latch ensures easy insertion and removal, even in confined or hard-to-reach spaces.
