The Leviton ADVENTUM™ Indoor-Outdoor CDT Steel Tape Armoured Cable is a high-performance fibre optic solution designed for backbone installations where fire safety, mechanical protection, and installation efficiency are critical.

Featuring a central dry tube (CDT) construction, the cable supports 2 to 24 fibres in a compact, gel-free design that simplifies termination while preventing water entry along the entire tube length.

Engineered for versatility, ADVENTUM B2ca cables are suitable for indoor and outdoor building backbones, campus networks, vertical risers, and data centres. The corrugated steel-tape armour protects against mechanical crush, impact, and rodent damage, making the cable suitable for direct-burial applications.

The cable incorporates bend-insensitive fibre as standard, with single-mode, OM3, OM4, and OM5 options available to support a wide range of high-speed applications. Fibres are TIA-598-D colour-coded for fast, accurate identification during installation and maintenance. An enhanced halogen-free, flame-retardant low-smoke (HFFR-LS) sheath, black and UV-stable, provides added environmental protection.

Compliant with the European Construction Products Regulation, the cable achieves EuroClass B2ca in accordance with EN 13501-6, exceeding the requirements of Cca, Dca, and Eca classifications. Its indoor/outdoor rating eliminates the need for transition splicing at building entry points, delivering a safe, robust, and future-ready fibre solution for mission-critical infrastructure.
