Jonard Flush Cut Kevlar® Cutters

Jonard Tools Flush Cut Kevlar Cutters are precision hand tools for field technicians who need to trim Kevlar® aramid fibres flush to a surface without leaving protruding strands. These cutters are useful when preparing fibre optic cable assemblies, completing jacket preparation steps, or trimming strength members where excess material must not interfere with connectors or closures.

The tool provides access into tight or confined spaces, enabling accurate cuts close to the cable jacket or panel surface. The serrated upper jaw secures Kevlar® fibres and other materials during cutting, reducing slippage and ensuring a clean, controlled cut, while the non-serrated blade can be sharpened to extend service life.

The length and lightweight design balance portability and precision. Handles are moulded in TPR with an integrated spring-loaded mechanism that automatically reopens the jaws after each cut to reduce hand fatigue.
