The Fluke Networks MicroMapper™ Wiremap Tester is a compact, handheld cable tester designed to help quickly verify the physical integrity of Ethernet twisted-pair cabling.
It performs wiremap testing to check for common wiring issues like opens, shorts, crossed pairs, reversed pairs, and split pairs, by automatically scanning all wire pairs and displaying results via LEDs.
Built for simplicity and efficiency, the MicroMapper includes a remote unit that enables testing of installed cables or patch cords, to be carried out by one person, making it ideal for contractors, IT technicians, and home network installers. Its built-in tone generator works with analog probes, allowing cables to be traced through walls, ceilings, and floors, helping identify hidden runs.
The tester supports twisted-pair cabling up to approximately 200m in length and is powered by four AAA batteries with a low-battery LED indicator.
