Fluke Networks FiberLert 125 - Live Fibre Detector

The Fluke Networks FiberLert 125 Live Fibre Detector is a compact test tool designed to quickly and safely verify the presence of live optical signals in fibre networks. It detects optical power in single-mode and multimode fibres across the near-infrared spectrum and works with a wide range of connector types including UPC and APC patch cords and ports.

Its non-contact detection method reduces the risk of contaminating or damaging fibre end faces during testing. The detector just needs to be placed in front of a fibre end or port – if light is present, the unit emits a visible red LED indication and an audible signal, making it clear if the fibre is active.

The unit incorporates LightBeat™ technology, where a flashing LED confirms operation and battery status. It automatically powers off after five minutes of inactivity to preserve the AAA batteries.
