The Draka OM2 8 Core Loose Tube Cable with CST Armour delivers reliable, high-bandwidth connectivity in demanding indoor and outdoor network environments. It features 8 OM2 multimode optical fibres housed in a loose tube construction to provide reliable data transmission for enterprise backbones, campus networks, industrial facilities, and telecommunications infrastructure.
The loose tube design allows the fibres to move independently in the protective tube, reducing mechanical stress caused by installation, temperature fluctuations, and environmental movement. This helps maintain optical performance and reliability in challenging conditions over time. For extra protection, the cable has CST armour, which is resistant to crushing, impact, and rodent damage, making it suitable for duct, direct burial, and exposed installations.
The durable black outer sheath offers environmental protection and complies with the Eca reaction-to-fire classification under the CPR, supporting installations that require compliance with European fire safety standards.
