Description of LinkIQ™ and LinkIQ™ Duo Functions
Copper Cable + Network Testing
The LinkIQ™ Cable+Network Tester is the testing solution to verify cable performance up to 10 Gb/s and solve network connectivity problems. The LinkIQ™ tester validates cable performance using frequency-based measurements and a wire map of the cable under test. It also performs ping tests to verify connectivity and nearest switch diagnostics to identify key network issues and validate switch configuration - eliminating the need for another device.
Wi-Fi Testing
The LinkIQ™ Duo models add Wi-Fi analysis to Wi-Fi 6E, including networks, channels, and access points plus warning of common configuration issues.

Fibre Testing
With the addition of the Fibre Media Converter (FMC) kit, the Engineer can understand and debug the fibre port connections by determining application, switch name, port
name and VLAN and verifying connectivity using IP ping. The FMC includes the Media Converters, SFPs, fibre optic cords and RJ45 cable to connect with any
LinkIQ™ tester to troubleshoot network connectivity.
1G/10G Fibre Media Converter Kit
When testing a connection through the FMC, the “Network” test provides results that can tell you if you have an Ethernet connection to the device at the far end (typically a switch) and if you can send IP traffic to targets at the far end. Connects to 1 Gb/s (1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX) and 10 Gb/s (10GBASE-SR, 10GBASE-LR) fibre Ethernet ports and SFP (1G/10G) using single-mode or multimode optic fibre cables
Additional features include Analog and Digital Toning, Port Blink, Remote Office Locators, and the ability to manage results via LinkWare™ PC.
