Termination is accomplished using 110-type insulation displacement connectors (IDC), with a built-in ledge adjacent to the termination field that allows wires to be seated and cut in a single action. Gas-tight IDC contacts help prevent corrosion and ensure long-term electrical reliability.\n\nPatented Retention Force Technology (RFT) protects contact tines from damage and allows the jack to support multiple re-terminations.
